Al ver estas hojas recortadas he quedado fascinada, cada vez me sorprendo mas de la capacidad artistica que tienen algunas personas, ya que precisamente lo que os enseño en mi Post-Art de hoy no es nada fácil . Las imágenes que se aprecian sobre estas hojas secas no son pintadas sobre ellas, son talladas a mano mediante el sutil corte y la eliminación de la superficie, pero dejando las venas de la hoja. Las hojas utilizadas provienen del árbol Chinar que es nativo de la India, Pakistán y China. Las hojas Chinar tiene un gran parecido con las hojas de arce.
Antes de realizar la talla, las hojas secas son hervidas en agua para esterilizarlas, luego se tallan y posteriormente son cuidadosamente secadas, en este paso el 60% de las hojas se rompen, imaginaos la precisión que se necesita para realizarlo.
Para apreciar el trabajo la hojas es colocada a contra luz, en donde las partes talladas se ven como blancas y las oscuras son parte de la hoja original.
Es el lienzo perfecto para expresar un nuevo arte.
