Alucinada me he quedado con esta marca : se llama W/SÜN ( un nombre similar a una de las canciones más conocidas de The Doors) , esta marca de gafas de sol de inspiración californiana y alma afrancesa se ha extendido por los cinco continentes . Están realizadas con madera de árbol de té y bambú, ya que estas son flexibles y muy lijeras, además montan cristales de Carl Zeiss, firma legendaria en lentes y óptica. El empaquetado tampoco podía ser común: su programa 2041 trata de apoyar a jóvenes artistas gráficos, estampando pañuelos con sus creaciones, que después envuelven las gafas dentro de una caja de cartón con forma de prisma. Su colaboración con artistas se extiende también a ediciones limitadas dentro de sus colecciones, como la última con el diseñador Rockwell, que dio color al frente y las patillas de uno de sus modelos.
Lo que la marca ya ha conseguido es hacer de estas gafas un capricho codiciado para los amantes de lo original y sobre todo de la moda. También es singular hasta en sus puntos de venta, dado que suele encontrarse más fácilmente en tiendas de moda y complementos que en ópticas, tanto me han encantado que busco como loca los puntos de venta y me enteraré, quiero unas gafas de madera!!
